Okay, it's been a while since we posted on this blog. With the Holiday season now over we can get back to the work at hand.
In fact, this is the time of year we enter our "recipe development" cycle. This year we are trying to create a "Smoked Garlic" ketchup. We have a source for the Garlic and will smoke our own right on site. We expect this, assuming we get a great tasting recipe (and it WILL be submitted first to our tasting crew and after passing their tests, then on to some prototypes that we'll present at Farmers' Markets. Once everyone agrees, we'll enter the pre-production phase (labels, shelf-life assessments, UPCs, etc.) which can take awhile (and some money.)
We'll also be taking a short respite from some of our personal appearances (in March a new knee will require some recovery time) but we'll be out there in force after that. In the meantime, get your orders in, either online or at one of our several retail outlets.
